Change of use from a public toilet to an office

This was an interesting project; we changed the existing Public Toilets, which were rarely used as they were by appointment only, into a small, yet light and modern office. This adorable building was originally built by the council right next to the River Eden which meant we required to submit an FRA (flood risk assessment) with the application.
The original external openings were retained but modern aluminium framed windows were inserted which gave it a more contemporary feel without detracting from the original style.
Internally one of the toilet cubicles was removed to make space for more desks and a small kitchenette area was put in. What more do you need!
